Privacy Policy

The short version
Your seating charts — including every guest name — are stored in your browser's local storage on your device. They are never uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see them. The only personal information we ever hold is an email address you voluntarily submit.
What we collect
- Email address (optional): if you subscribe to updates, join the Pro waitlist, or use the contact form, we store your email with a tag describing where you submitted it. We use it to send what you asked for and nothing else.
- Anonymous usage events: the tool sends basic, non-identifying events (for example, "a chart was exported as PDF") so we know which features matter. These contain no guest names or chart contents.
- Standard server logs: like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Vercel) records requests, IP addresses, and user agents for security and operations.
What we do not do
- No selling or renting of personal data, ever.
- No advertising networks or third-party tracking pixels.
- No account system — we couldn't build a profile of you if we wanted to.
- No upload of chart contents or guest lists.
Local storage
The editor uses your browser's local storage to autosave your chart and remember preferences (such as a Pro unlock). Clearing your browser data deletes your saved chart; we have no copy to restore.
Payments
If a Pro purchase is offered, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; Stripe's privacy policy governs the transaction data.
Unsubscribing & deletion
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can request deletion of your email address at any time via the contact page. We'll remove it promptly.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page.
